The 42nd U.S. Senior Open will be conducted the week of June 20 – 26, 2022, at Saucon Valley Country Club. Expect additional traffic delays in and around the Township during this time. Be aware that there will also be shuttle buses operating from the off-site parking lot at the Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus to the Saucon Valley Country Club.
PennDOT has authorized the closure of Saucon Valley Road (SR-2036) from the intersection of PA Route 378 to Apple Tree Lane. The closure will be in effect from 06:00am to 09:00pm Monday, June 20 to Sunday, June 26. Traffic will be detoured via Black River Road and PA Route 378. Spring Valley Road will remain open.
During the closure, all traffic will be directed to follow posted detour routes.
Motorists should anticipate delays, especially during peak travel times, and use caution driving through the area. Please keep in mind that travel delays could last longer than anticipated due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather and heavy traffic volumes.
