Sealed Proposals for the Central Complex at Hopewell Road Park Project

NOTICE: In response to the current COVID-19 Pandemic and possible revised or reduced work schedules relating to all four contracts of the Central Complex at Hopewell Road Park, the project bidding schedule has been revised to the following:

1 – Final Questions Deadline: April 6, 2020, 12:00 pm

2 – Final Addendum: April 10, 2020, 3:00 pm

3 – Bid Due Date: April 17, 2020, 10:00 am

Sealed Proposals for the Central Complex at Hopewell Road Park Project will be received online via the PennBid Program by Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County until 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on April 3, 2020. At that time, proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Township Engineer’s Office, Hanover Engineering Associates, Inc., 20C Snyder Lane, Ephrata, PA 17522.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Upper Saucon Township office, located at 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Center Valley, PA 18034 on March 11, 2020. All prospective bidders are encouraged but not required to attend. Final questions are due no later than 12:00 p.m. on March 25, 2020. A final addendum will be issued by 3:00 p.m. on March 30, 2020.
The Work will include, but will not necessarily be limited to, providing all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, and testing services for two (2) buildings at the Central Complex at Hopewell Road Park project as further described in the Contract Documents.
Contracts to be awarded include:
Contract 1 – Site Work and General Building Construction
Contract 2 – Mechanical
Contract 3 – Plumbing
Contract 4 – Electrical

Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the required form, certified check, bank cashier’s check, or other security acceptable, to the Owner in the amount of 10% of the total Base Bid. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the Bid opening date except as permitted by law, and may not be withdrawn during this period. Bidders must Bid on all items listed on the Bid Form.
This Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions.
This Project is subject to the Federal Occupational Safety & Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions.
This Project is subject to Pennsylvania Act 287 of 1974, as amended by Act 172 of 1986, as amended by Act 38 of 1991, as amended by Act 187 of 1996.
This project is subject to the Trade Practices Act of July 23, 1968, P.L. 686 (81 P.S. 773.101 et seq.)
This Project is subject to the Public Works Employment Verification Act.
This Contract is subject to Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 conditions.
This Contract is subject to the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions.

Upper Saucon Township reserves the right at its option to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in any or all of Bids and to accept or reject any or all parts of the Bids which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township.

Sealed Bids for the Hauling and Disposal of Liquid Sewage Biosolids Contract 2020-01

Sealed Bids for the Hauling and Disposal of Liquid Sewage Biosolids Contract 2020-01 will be received by Upper Saucon Township Sewage Treatment Authority at 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Center Valley, PA 18034 until 11:00 AM prevailing time on April 10, 2020. At that time, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Township Meeting Room by the Authority Engineer. Award of the bid will be considered at the Regular Scheduled Meeting of the Upper Saucon Sewage Treatment Authority on May 4, 2020.

The Work will include, but will not necessarily be limited to, providing all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, and testing services for the hauling and disposal of liquid sewage biosolids contract as further described in the Contract Documents.

All Bid Documents and details are available by mail from Upper Saucon Township Sewage Treatment Authority, 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Center Valley, PA 18034, or in person at the Upper Saucon Township Water and Sewer Building located at 4774 Saucon Creek Road, Center Valley, PA 18034. When requesting documents, please include a mailing address, a telephone number, a fax number and the contract number interested in, with the request.

Final questions are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on April 3, 2020. Final addendum will be issued by 3:00 p.m. on April 7, 2020.
