Emergency Alert. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Upper Saucon Township from 10AM Wednesday through 10AM Thursday. Heavy snow and significant wind gusts are expected with this storm.
Travel will be dangerous or impossible. If you do not need to go out, don’t.
While we will do our best to keep roads passable, please avoid all travel from mid-day Wednesday until the conclusion of the storm. If you are stuck, so are we. This increases response time for vital emergency services and prevents us from properly plowing the roads.
While snow is falling, roads will not be free of ice and snow. Arterial and collector roads will be plowed first. Secondary roads and cu-de-sacs will be plowed after the main roads have been cleared. Essential workers should plan accordingly i.e. arrive at your destination before the storm begins and stay there until the storm ends.
For emergencies, call 911.
