Water / Sewer Operators (or Trainees)

Upper Saucon Twp. seeks F/T Sewer Collections Operator and Water Operator (or Trainees) in Water/Sewer Dept. Responsibilities include being part of a crew engaged in tasks related to the operation and maintenance of water & sewer infrastructure. Position requires physical dexterity, ability to do heavy lifting, ability to adjust to changing conditions, high school diploma (or GED) and relevant experience if an operator in water/sewer, or construction-related fields. Occasional on-call and snow removal work required as over-time. Valid PA driver’s license required, Class B CDL (or will train). Water/Sewer Operator candidates should possess valid applicable PADEP Operators Certificate, and Trainee should, with paid training, train and test up to Operator over time. This CBA-covered position offers a starting pay rate of $27.98 – $31.16 (W/S Operator); and $24.19 – $26.93 (Trainee/Laborer); and a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and a defined benefit pension plan.
