Tumblebrook Golf Course Now Open

Coopersburg, PA. May 2, 2018– Steve Grube of NoPro Golf, LLC announced today the Grand Opening Weekend for Tumblebrook Golf Course. “It is with great pleasure that I announce the Tumblebrook Golf Course will be having our Grand Opening beginning Friday, May 4 and continuing through Sunday May 6th”, said Grube.
Grube, the Principal of NoPro Golf, LLC recently assumed the operating lease for the Municipal Golf Course from Upper Saucon Township in Lehigh County Pa. Grube draws on a Staff with 40 years of course management and operations. “Since taking over the course management, just about a month ago, we have been working hard to get the course ready for the season. We welcome anyone to stop by and see for themselves the positive changes that are under way”.
Tumblebrook is a 9-hole golf course located along Jacoby Road, approximately ½ mile east of the intersection of Route 309 and Fairmont Street, in Upper Saucon Township. The course is about a 10-minute drive from Allentown and a 15-minute drive from Quakertown.
Tumblebrook was designed by the legendary Donald J. Ross. Widely considered the most prolific and successful golf course designer of all time, Ross was noted for his ability to create holes that were perfectly integrated into the landscape. His design philosophy stressed using what nature provided rather than wholesale remodeling of topography. By the time Ross retired, he had created over 400 new golf courses in the United States including such masterpieces as Pinehurst, Seminole, Inverness, Oak Hill and Congressional.
Tumblebrook offers three sets of tee’s, to suit all levels of play. The wide fairways and open space minimize lost balls, which makes Tumblebrook a great course for kids and beginners. More experienced players will be challenged by the course’s small, domed greens.
Grube and his staff expect to continue improvements over the entire season and insures that play will not be interrupted. “We have an improved reservation and point of sale system in place, refreshed the snack bar, focused on course beautification, and made some patio upgrades”. Grube added “We truly appreciate all our golfers, whether returning or new, we are here to make your experience fun”!
