PUBLIC NOTICE: Zoning Hearing Board Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the regular public meeting of the Zoning Hearing Board (ZHB) of Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, is scheduled at the Municipal Building located at 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Center Valley, PA on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 7:00 PM for the purpose of hearing the following appeals:
APPEAL NO. 2015-14 - Glen & Karen Hill (Owners/Applicants), 4610 Pleasant View Drive, Coopersburg, PA 18036. The property identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 640583147661 1 and 4610 Pleasant View Drive, Coopersburg, PA 18036, is 5.67 acres in size and is located in the South Mountain Conservation (SMC) Zone. The applicant requests a variance from Section 450.B to permit a Home Occupation with three (3) non-resident employees where a maximum of two (2) non-resident employees are permitted.
APPEAL NO. 2015-15 - Lewis R. Shupe IV (Applicant/Owner), 6092 Robin Lane, Coopersburg, PA 18036. The property identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 641490684376 1 and 6092 Robin Lane, Coopersburg, PA 18036, is 16.73 acres in size and is located in the Suburban Residential (R-2) Zone. The applicant is appealing the July 3, 2015 Zoning Officer denial of a Zoning Permit by requesting an interpretation of Section 450, that the property owner is operating a Home Occupation permitted by right.
APPEAL NO. 2015-16 - Posh Properties (Applicant/Owner), 2216 Willow Park Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020. The property identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 642515500995 1 and 4647 Saucon Creek Road, Center Valley, PA 18034, is 3.81 acres in size and is located in the Enterprise (E) Zone. The applicant seeks a variance from Section 423.B to permit a 5,750 sq. ft. outdoor play area for a daycare where 9,425 sq. ft. is required based on enrollment.
APPEAL NO. 2015-17 - Thomas P. Williams (Applicant/Owner), 822 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18101. The property identified as Tax Map Parcel No. 641481699060 1 and 4730 Blue Church Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036, is 2.31 acres in size and is located in the Suburban Residential (R-2) Zone. The applicant is appealing a Zoning Enforcement Notice issued on August 5, 2015 alleging that the owner has established a principal landscaping/equipment storage use on the lot, a use not permitted in the R-2 Zone.
