Upper Saucon
Township Community Park
The
Upper Saucon Township Community Park is located on Preston Lane
east of Route 378. Dedicated on May 18, 1996, the park was designed
to meet the current and future recreational needs of the Township's
residents. The park covers approximately 70 acres and is conveniently
located in the central portion of the Township.
The following recreation facilities are offered at the park:
- A tot lot with multiple play stations.
- 3 full-size soccer fields and 2 short-sided soccer fields.
- Parking facilities to accommodate over 200 vehicles.
- Two baseball fields-one with 90-foot base paths and one with
60-foot base paths.
- 3 all-purpose fields.
- Nearly 2 miles of walking/jogging trails.
- 2 basketball courts.
- A large picnic pavilion sufficient to accommodate 100 people.
- Restroom facilities

Pavilion Rental
Information
The pavilion at the Township Community Park is the perfect place
to hold a family reunion, company picnic or birthday party. The
pavilion houses several picnic tables which comfortably seat up
to 100 people. Restrooms, grills, and trash containers are conveniently
located near the pavilion. Please call the Township Office at
(610) 282-1171, ext. 228 for more information about reserving
the pavilion or download a pavilion rental application from this
site.

- Non-Township Residents $100.00

Gifting Program
and Dedications
A path in the Township Park has been designated for the donation
of flowering trees. Trees given to memorialize family and friends
may be personalized with dedication markers. Approved species,
including cherry, crabapple, serviceberry, kousa dogwoods and
flowering pear trees will line this walkway, with reflection benches
nearby.
Donations of park benches, water fountains, play and recreation
equipment, trail markers and other permanent structures are graciously
accepted from residents, businesses and community organizations.
Monetary contributions to future projects, such as pavilions,
hard surface playing courts and children's play areas are also
accepted.
Service and youth organizations are encouraged to develop proposals
for their participation in the maintenance and development of
beautification projects for the park.
