CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Gutzmirtl called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. in the Public Meeting Room of the Upper Saucon Township Municipal Building, 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County, PA.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Chairman Gutzmirtl asked all in attendance to stand and recite the “Pledge of Allegiance”.
PUBLIC COMMENT
None
SOUTHERN LEHIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT – NEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – RESOLUTION NO. 2007-29
A motion was made by Joseph Horvath and seconded by James White, Sr., to adopt Resolution No. 2007-29 approving the form of financial security for the new elementary school project and authorizing the Township Manager to execute the Traffic Improvements Cost-sharing Agreement with the Southern Lehigh School District.
The motion carried by a vote of 4 to 0.
William Miracle, President of the School Board, thanked the Board of Supervisors for holding a special meeting to address this matter.
Attorney James Bartholomew, School District Solicitor, outlined the construction schedule for the new elementary school building.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Board met in executive session to discuss the possible condemnation of land for a future road.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting.
Motion carried by a vote of 4 to 0.
