Fire Department Open House
Come see the fire trucks, meet your local volunteer fire fighters and learn how to keep your family safe! The open house will be on Saturday, October 4 from 12:00 - 3:00 PM at the Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department, 4445 West Hopewell Road, Center Valley. There will be food and games, as well as a moon bounce for the children. Hope to see you there!  Any questions, please see the flyer or call the Fire Department at 610-791-0266.

Public Notice: Admin & Finance Committee Meeting
The Administration & Finance Committee of the Upper Saucon Township Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 3:00 PM, and Monday, October 20, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the Township Municipal Building, 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Center Valley, PA. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss various matters related to the 2015 Township budget.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Races at Township Park and Saucon Rail Trail
Fall is a great time to get out and run a race. There are several races on the fall calendar that not only take advantage of the Saucon Rail Trail, but also benefit affilliated organizations.

Southern Lehigh Public Library Book It! 5k
Sunday, October 12, at 8:30 AM. Starting and ending at the Upper Saucon Township Community Park, using the Saucon Rail Trail north past Spring Valley Road.

The Park and Trail will be open to the general public, and you are welcomed to participate. However, users shall be aware of the events and yield to the participants, or make alternate plans to avoid these areas during the events.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Ordinance 141-I
Notice is hereby provided that the Upper Saucon Township Board of Supervisors intends to consider passage of proposed Ordinance No. 141-I at a public meeting to be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, October 13, at the Township Municipal Building located at 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Center Valley, PA. Proposed Ordinance 141-I would revise regulations ralating to non-commercial tree cutting. Please look here for more information.

Upper Saucon Township is currently accepting proposals and qualifications for Professional Engineering Services. Submissions will be accepted until 2:00 PM on Friday, October 3, 2014.

Prescription BottlePrescription Drug Take Back Day
On Saturday, September 27, 2014, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Federal and local law enforcement authorities will participate in a nationwide program to give the public an opportunity to dispose of expired and unused prescription drugs. Drop off at the Upper Saucon Township Police, 5500 Camp Meeting Road, or to find another drop off center near you, please click here.

Trick or Treat 2011Trick or Treat
The Upper Saucon Township Board of Supervisors have set the date for the 2014 Halloween Trick or Treat activities. This year's date will be on Friday, October 31, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The rain date will be the following night, November 1.

Tax Bills Mailed Out
The 2014 Upper Saucon Township real estate tax bills are mailed out the first week of April. A two percent (2%) discount is granted to taxpayers who pay their tax bills by May 31. The base tax amount is due from June 1 to July 31. After July 31, a ten percent (10%) penalty is in effect.

The Tax Collector holds office hours to allow residents to pay their tax bills in person. Those hours are listed on this page, as well as the Community Calendar. However, you also have the option of mailing your tax bills to:

Prescription BottlePrescription Drug Drop-Off Box
The Upper Saucon Township Police Department is proud to announce the installation of a permanent drop-off box for unused medications. The box is located in the lobby of the Police Dept., and is available for free, anonymous drop-offs Monday - Friday, from 8AM-12PM and 1PM-4PM.
